Janet Simpson, a proud alumna of San Diego State University, began her career as a registered dental assistant in 1989. For more than three decades she has worked to improve job performance and satisfaction for dental auxiliaries while championing compassionate care for patients.

As the founder of Dental Fundamentals C.E., a Dental Board of California registered provider (RP5496), Janet has taught thousands of students as an instructor, speaker and consultant. Her inventive streak led to Sensorskinz, a product that makes digital dental X-rays more comfortable for patients and quicker for the team.

Her commitment reaches beyond the business. As clinic coordinator at Cura Smiles Dental Clinic she organizes pro bono dental care with a team of volunteer dentists, hygienists and assistants for the underserved City Heights community of San Diego.

Every course on this site is built from that chairside experience: infection control, radiography and the Dental Practice Act taught the way they are used in a working operatory.
