Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. dentalxraycoach.com uses a small number of them, mostly to keep you logged in and to make checkout work. This page lists what they are and how to control them.
Cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These are needed for the site to work. They are set when you log in, take a course or check out, and they cannot be switched off without breaking those features.
- wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*: keep you signed in to your student dashboard. Removed when you log out, or after 14 days if you ticked “Remember me.”
- wp-settings-*, wp-settings-time-*: remember basic display preferences. 1 year.
- wordpress_test_cookie: checks that your browser accepts cookies. Deleted when you close the browser.
- learnpress_*: remember your position in a course and the items in your cart during checkout. Session.
- __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid: set by Stripe during checkout to prevent fraud. 1 year and 30 minutes respectively.
Preferences
- elementor: stores page-builder display settings in your browser’s local storage. Does not identify you.
Analytics and advertising
We do not currently run analytics or advertising cookies. If we add a tool such as Google Analytics in the future we will update this page and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Cookies set by others
Course videos may be hosted by a video platform (for example YouTube or Vimeo). When you play a video, that platform may set its own cookies under its own policy. We embed videos in privacy mode where the platform offers it.
How to control cookies
Every browser lets you see, block and delete cookies. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop you logging in and buying courses. Instructions for the common browsers:
