These terms govern your use of dentalxraycoach.com and the continuing education courses sold on it. The site is operated by Dental Fundamentals C.E. (“we,” “us”), owned by Janet Simpson, RDA, BVE, PO Box 178494, San Diego, CA 92177. By creating an account, buying a course or using the site you agree to these terms.
1. Who can use the site
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. Courses are intended for dental professionals and dental assisting students. You are responsible for making sure a course meets the requirements of your licensing board before you buy it.
2. Your account
Your email address is your account. Keep your password private and tell us right away if you think someone else has used your account. Each account is for one person; sharing a login or sharing course content with people who have not paid for it is not allowed.
3. Courses and access
When you buy a course you get a personal, non-transferable license to view it online for your own learning. We may update course content to keep it current with Dental Board of California requirements. Course access is for the period shown on the course page; if no period is shown, access continues for as long as the course is offered on the site.
4. Continuing education credit
Dental Fundamentals C.E. is a Dental Board of California registered provider (Provider ID RP5496). A certificate of completion is issued when you finish every lesson and any required quiz. The certificate shows the course name, the units earned, the date you completed the course and your name as it appears on your account. You are responsible for the accuracy of your name and license number. Original certificates are subject to board audit and should be kept for four years. Completing a course does not authorize you to perform any service your license or permit does not allow.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are in US dollars and are shown on each course page. Payment is taken at checkout by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. Prices may change, but a change never affects a course you have already paid for.
6. Refunds
If you bought the wrong course or changed your mind, email janet@dentalxraycoach.com within 7 days of purchase and before starting the first lesson, and we will refund you in full. Once a course has been started, or a certificate has been issued, the purchase is final. If a technical problem on our side stops you from completing a course and we cannot fix it, we will refund you.
7. Intellectual property
All course videos, slides, documents, quizzes, images and text on the site belong to Dental Fundamentals C.E. or its licensors. You may not copy, record, download (except materials marked for download), share, sell or publish them. The Dental Fundamentals C.E. name and logo may not be used without written permission.
8. Acceptable use
Do not try to access other users’ accounts or data, interfere with the site, use automated tools to scrape it, or use the site for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, without refund.
9. No professional advice
Courses provide general education. They are not a substitute for the regulations of your state board, your employer’s protocols, or the judgment of a licensed supervising dentist. Always follow the current law and standards where you practice.
10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The site and courses are provided “as is.” To the fullest extent the law allows, Dental Fundamentals C.E. is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the course concerned.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows the current version. If a change is significant we will email account holders before it takes effect.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California.
